Ballots are out!!! In this Get Out The Vote special canvass, come door-knock for Mike Westgaard’s campaign for Renton City Council and help make sure voters fill out their ballots and vote for Mike! Let’s elect someone who will fight for working people.

Mike is a proud union shop steward and longtime Seattle DSA member – his campaign envisions connecting our chapter to the organized labor movement and the working class struggle in South King County. Mike is a champion for housing and transit for all, ending the war on drugs, and defending Raise the Wage Renton!

Mike is running as a democratic socialist in a grassroots campaign against a Chamber of Commerce backed establishment incumbent – to win he will need OUR HELP! We’ll meet at [location TBD] for sign-ins and training, then head out to talk to neighbors about Mike’s campaign.

We will be organizing carpooling options, if you need a carpool please enter the relevant information into the Action Network RSVP form. First time canvassers are welcome. We will provide a training before the canvass. Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately!
