Seattle DSA is a chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America. We believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few. We are a political and activist organization, not a party; through community-based chapters DSA members use a variety of tactics to empower working people.
Last year, you helped us create the Seattle Social Housing Developer with the passage of I-135. Congrats to SDSA members whose efforts helped get I-137 on the upcoming February ballot. Watch for get-out-the-vote opportunities later this fall.
