What We Do
The working group contributes to building a strong movement of educators, caregivers, families, and communities against the Seattle Public Schools 2025 elementary school closure plan and instead to fully fund education and the resources families and our communities need toward economic, racial, and gender justice. Within this broader movement, we want to raise awareness of how capitalist policies undermine our communities and why a socialist transformation of society is needed for a fundamental change that puts people over profit.
