The Seattle DSA Labor Working Group’s next semi-annual Socialist Job Fair is happening October 6th! Come help us create this amazing opportunity to build and strengthen our unions! The Socialist Job Fair exists to help socialists interested in learning and applying organizing techniques directly with people trying to unionize their workplace or organize their disorganized union shops.
So far a lot of work has been done (and continues to be done!) in effort to put up posters getting the word out about the Socialist Job Fair. We have about 40 people that have RSVP’d (with more to come) and our next step is to reach out to those folks by phone to vet them and field questions. This is an important step and we need your help!
The Labor Working Group will be hosting group phonebanking Tuesday the 17th starting at 3pm at the University Branch of the Seattle Public Library!
