The general election is on!!! Mike is through the primary but is behind the Amazon-backed incumbent – however we earned nearly 5,000 votes for our openly democratic socialist candidate, almost 4x more than the number of votes for Mike in 2023! To close the gap and win, we’re hitting the phones- this week, we are calling Seattle DSA members to ask them to come canvass at our Get Out The Vote Kickoff on 10/11 and 10/12.
The stakes are high – without your help Mike and Seattle DSA cannot win this election! Phonebanking is the ideal way to help Mike if you can’t make it down to Renton to canvass, and the more callers we have, the faster we can go through our lists. RSVP to add the phonebank to your calendar. First time and returning volunteers are welcome. We will provide training before the phonebank.
