Amazon Sick Out livestream! Justice for workers and climate

Amazon Employees for Climate Justice (AECJ) sent a meeting invitation to fellow employees internally on April 10 to hear from warehouse workers about conditions in warehouses during COVID-19 and about the intersections between the COVID-19 pandemic and the climate crisis from author and climate justice advocate Naomi Klein.
Hours after the invitation was sent, Amazon fired Emily Cunningham and Maren Costa, two leaders with Amazon Employees for Climate Justice who had over 20 years of tenure at Amazon between them.
Demand Amazon stop firing workers for speaking up about their work conditions; make temporary workplace improvements permanent; and make commitments to climate justice in their business dealings. Learn how to support the Amazon workers’ effort here.
