“Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country”, declared Trump in his 2019 State of the Union Address. Since then, Trump and the GOP have launched furious attacks on Bernie, “the Squad”, and the ideas of socialism. What are the billionaires and corporate donors afraid of? Trump and the billionaires’ sexist, racist agenda must be defeated in 2020. However, we must also challenge the political economic system that’s causing the global environmental crisis, staggering income inequality, and the attacks on women, LGBTQ people, and people of color.
The strength of Bernie’s campaign is his call for a political revolution against the billionaire class. What can we accomplish by building this mass movement of everyday working people and young people? What’s the alternative to unbridled corporate domination of society – is socialism realistic? What can we do now to build this movement? Come find out more and get involved!
