Join us at UrbanLuxe Cafe in Roosevelt, Thursday 7/20, to continue discussions of two technical visions for a 100% renewable energy future, along with barriers/strategies for getting there. We are each starting or will have finished one of two books (your choice which you would like to read). Electrify: An Optimist’s Playbook for Our Clean Energy Future by Saul Griffith emphasizes consumer choices and is a shorter read. No Miracles Needed: How Today’s Technology Can Save Our Climate and Clean Our Air by Mark Jacobson provides thorough definitions and accessible technical descriptions for an optimal transition to 100% renewable energy.
You don’t have to live in District 4 or 5, and feel free to join the conversation even if you haven’t had time to read! All are welcome.
