Join us in District 2 for a discussion on the future for socialists in the Democratic Party, followed by postering the neighborhood and phone/text banking DSA members for the Democratic debate watch party. Let’s build the political revolution!

As Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren continue to shake up the Democratic Primary, party stalwarts like Michael Bloomberg, Duvall Patrick, and Barack Obama have talked about intervening to bring the party back to its supposed center. As the first primaries loom in just a few weeks, itā€™s a good time to take a look at the larger picture of the progressive insurgency within the Democratic Party. How have Bernie and Warren shifted the party to the left? Can they continue doing so? What are the forces working against them? What can progressives on the left do? Join us for a discussion!

And DSA can help build the socialist movement as Bernie the Socialist runs for president — we want to bring as many future socialists as we can together on 12/19 for the debate watch party at Clock-Out Lounge. We’ll get the word out by postering the neighborhood and text/phone banking other DSA members.
