Join District 3 comrades for our monthly movie night! This month we’ll be watching Harlan County USA, a 1976 Oscar-winning documentary about miners in Harlan County, Kentucky fighting for union recognition. This is a powerful story about labor organizing that clearly shows the lines drawn between the workers and the owners, and the brutal tactics that corporations and the state will resort to to prevent unionization.
We’ll watch the film together and have a discussion afterward.
