District 4 Reading Group: Discuss how the socialist movement can build power through coalition building, organizing and building dual power structures.

April 16, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us in reading two articles on the types of strategies socialists should employ to gain power in society. The first is the DSA strategy document https://www.dsausa.org/strategy/resistance_rising_socialist_strategy_in_the_age_of_political_revolution/. The second is “Where does power come from?” by Amelia Davenport in cosmonaut https://cosmonaut.blog/2018/09/03/where-does-power-come-from/. It discusses building institutions independent of the state at length.

See local_district_4 channel in Slack or email [email protected] for zoom details.

This event is open to DSA members from other districts and anyone curious about DSA.
