District 4 Reading Group: should DSA work towards forming a socialist party?

Join District 4 SDSA to discuss forming a Democratic Socialist Party. Recently, a petition was made to push the national political committee of the DSA to hold conferences to discuss this issue and to start working towards building such a party. Why/how should we work towards building a party? What can we learn from the most successful US labor party in history? These sorts of questions are probably already being discussed in chapters around the country and there may be national conferences in the near future. Join in the conversation!
