Eastside Meetup! ?

Hello Comrades!

We’ll be having our next get-together on Sunday, July 15! Come by, meet your fellow Democratic Socialists and learn more about the Eastside DSA!

First, there will be a brief organizational meeting at Redmond Public Library, Redmond Conference Room, from noon to 1:30pm. Afterwards, we will head over to Soul Food to relax, and to enjoy some snacks and piping hot beverages.

Informational material about the DSA and Democratic Socialism will be available.

If you have any topics which you’d like to discuss, or questions which you’d like to put to the group, please let me know in advance so that I can add it to the agenda – thanks!

This get-together is open to members of the Democratic Socialists of America, non-members who are interested in learning more about the group, and anyone else who’d like to get acquainted with the DSA and its activities. Bring a friend or two who might like to learn more about the group, or who would just like to spend some time with like-minded people in a relaxed environment.

Informational material about the DSA and Democratic Socialism will be available.

(Parking: There are parking lots and street parking at both locations. There is also a parking lot roughly equidistant between the two locations, just a moderate walk away at Leary Way and Bear Creek.)

(Travel by bus: The Redmond Transit Center is just around the corner and a couple of blocks away, about a ten minute walk)

(There is no fee or donation to attend this event, but I do encourage members to plan to have a drink or a small snack at Soul Food. They’re being very kind to help us host this event, and it would be considerate to spend some money there)
