Green New Deal for Public Schools Phone-Zap!

The climate crisis is worsening every day, and little has been done by our elected officials to address the issue on the scale needed. We have an opportunity to change that. Congressman and DSA member Jamaal Bowman has introduced the Green New Deal for Public Schools Act into Congress, which would inject over $1 trillion into our public school system to make our schools more equitable, more sustainable, and more resilient. Our kids and educators deserve working and learning spaces that are healthy and allow them to thrive. In order to make this a reality though, we need to put the pressure on our elected officials to include this in the upcoming budget reconciliation package being considered by Congress.
