Join Seattle DSA as we knock on doors in Othello as part of DSA’s National Medicare for All Week of Action! Senator Bernie Sanders has recently released his new Medicare for All bill and DSA has been at the forefront of the fight to guarantee healthcare as a human right. Our canvasses are exciting opportunities to flex the collective power of DSA’s national membership towards winning Medicare for All—a vital step towards democratic socialism for the American working class.
Medicare for All is benefiting from unprecedented popularity – the bill just had its 112th co-sponsor sign on – but in order to get even more of our politicians to buck their billionaire donors and side with the majority, we have to threaten them with a mass political movement. Join us on June 15th to continue building the movement to win Medicare for All!
We start off every canvass with a training session and if you’re new to canvassing, we’ll pair you up with an experienced canvasser.
