Mike Westgaard is running for Renton City Council and he needs OUR HELP! Come phonebank DSA members for Mike’s campaign to ask them to volunteer at the Kick-off Canvass and donate.
Mike is a proud union shop steward and longtime Seattle DSA member – his campaign envisions connecting our chapter to the organized labor movement and the working class struggle in South King County. Mike is a champion for housing and transit for all, ending the war on drugs, and defending Raise the Wage Renton! Mike is running as a democratic socialist in a grassroots campaign against a Chamber of Commerce backed establishment incumbent – to win he will need the people power of DSA!
First time phonebankers are welcome. We will provide a training before the phonebank.
