Nikkita Oliver Tech Workers Listening Post

et mayoral candidate Nikkita Oliver, and The Peoples Party. The Tech Workers Listening Post will be hosted in conjunction with Open Seattle, an event focused on building the civic technology community, and building prototype solutions for local civic issues.

Seattle Peoples Party will participate in the Open Seattle Projects Night from 6-8pm for food, networking and projects. From 8-9pm, we’ll host a mini Listening Post session for civic tech.

MEETING AGENDA:
6:00 – 6:30: Eat food!
6:30 – 7:00: Open talks/pitches
7:00 – 8:00: Open project time
8:00 – 9:00: Listening Post sessions

WHAT TO BRING:
You’ll probably want a laptop (or be prepared to team up with someone that has a laptop, or work on projects that don’t require a computer).

GETTING TO SOCRATA:
Enter the main doors at 705 5th Ave S. If the doors are locked, somebody should be there to let you in. Head inside and to your left to find the elevator lobby; Socrata is on the 6th floor. Once you’re up there, follow the signs to reach Socrata’s cafeteria at the west end of the building.
