Trump came back to power despite massive protests in his first term. The slaughter in Gaza continues despite worldwide revulsion and enormous global protests. The climate catastrophe continues unabated despite years of protests and growing alarm amongst the world’s population. Does this mean that protests don’t work? Are they simply performative? Would we be better served focusing on local politics instead and getting people elected than putting resources into building protests?
Join your friendly neighborhood socialists in District 3 in discussing these critical questions. All are welcome – even if you don’t live in District 3!
