In light of recent events on the left both inside and outside of DSA, we’ll be talking about sexual harassment in American socialist organizations. We’ve selected a couple optional (and short) readings, which we’ll also summarize at the beginning of the meeting:

And a few topics to help guide the discussion:

• How can we build a culture of accountability?
• Why should we focus on restorative justice?
• What might restorative justice (and restorative investigations?) look like?

Additionally we’ll figure out who wants to be on the planning committee, and we’ll also have updates on the Seattle Clinic Defense partnership and the May 12th Mother’s Day event put on by the Immigration Caucus. Snacks will be provided.
