Raise the Wage Renton Canvass – The Landing (afternoon)

Join us together with Tacoma & Pierce County DSA and Tacoma For All (a broad union-backed coalition led by TDSA) this Sunday, September 24th at 2:00 PM for our official Tacoma DSA Day of Solidarity with Raise the Wage Renton (morning shift)!

Meeting point will be the Renton Landing Shopping Center, in front of Target.

Organizers in Tacoma have fought hard to launch and now have a winning chance to enact a Renters’ Bill of Rights in the City of Tacoma this November 7th, and they have mobilized volunteers together to help us also in our efforts to qualify for the February ballot. We hope we can both help each other score victories for the working class and marginalized communities through ballot initiatives in the next 6 months.

Feel free to also come to the earlier 11:00AM shift for a brief canvassing training and disbursement of materials. We will canvass until 1PM, take a group lunch from 1-2PM, then continue doorknocking efforts from 2-4PM. Tacoma DSA comrades plan to stay for both shifts, you are welcome to come to morning, afternoon, or both shifts.

All materials provided. Recommended to bring comfortable walking shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather
