Sherae for State Volunteer Event

Seattle DSA recently voted to endorse WA State Rep. candidate Sherae Lascelles (they/them)! They are running against Frank Chopp on a platform of taxing the *hell* out of the rich, putting people over profit, equity and accessibility, mutual aid and community-care.
We have only a very short time until the general election, and we are asking Seattle DSA members to mobilize to send Sherae Lascelles to Olympia! For this event, we will be block-walking and dropping off Sherae for State coffee and cocoa packs at doorsteps.
We are happy to announce that, since we had so much success with voters in the University District last week, we will be back again this week! RSVP here! And meet us at University Playground, at 11AM on Saturday for a brief training and block-walk!
Bring:
- Your mask
- Your healthy self (please don’t come if feeling symptomatic)
- A voluminous backpack/tote bag for carrying coffee and cocoa packs.
- Water/snacks as you might need
- Your phone, for communication, and looking at google maps
Accessibility:
This event will be held at a park with some curb cuts and some stairs. We will meet at a spot that is accessible via a ramp.
