In spectacular fashion the Democratic Party Establishment folded to Trump and the GOP’s intransigence without winning anything on their central demand for healthcare subsidies. What is the way forward for stopping Trump and the Rights rampage on working people? It’s clear we can’t rely on the Democratic Party establishment – should we try to reform the Dems? Or build a new political party? IS the solution to elect more Zohran’s as Democrats? Or maybe we eschew the electoral plane all together and focus on mutual aid and directly helping working people through tenant unions and the like?
Join the next Seattle DSA District 3 branch mtg to meet and discuss with your fellow District 3 members – you don’t need to live in D3 to attend, all are welcome! We’ll be also discussing tabling and postering in District 3 to get the word out about the free childcare campaign, find volunteers, and have people fill out a brief survey.
