Indigenous women, girls, trans people and two-spirits are murdered and disappear at a rate ten times the national average. Less than ten percent of cases are even investigated. Roxanne White, a dedicated, tireless  organizer, is hosting a prayer walk and gathering to call for an end to this violence. This event ties in to May 5th, Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Awareness Day. The link between fossil fuel extraction and murdered Indigenous people shows how the capitalist system continues to be hostile to life. Come show that the community cares about Native lives.

The march will end at Othello Park, 4351 S. Othello Street.
