Building on the successes of the Raise The Wage Renton campaign, let’s re-launch and grow our South King County DSA branch.
Some work items for the new year could be
- Educating workers on their rights under the new minimum wage law (assuming it passes — which is very likely)
- Holding the Renton City Council’s feet to the fire on implementation and enforcement
- Looking into election opportunities in 2024 and 2025
We are looking to confirm a space, and will have an update here soon. It will be a central location in downtown Renton, most likely Renton Public Library.
