Starbucks Workers Solidarity: NATIONAL SIP-IN

Over 220 Starbucks stores have voted to unionize with hundreds more in the pipeline. Starbucks is continuing its remorseless campaign to defeat Starbucks workers central demands of a living wage, guaranteed healthcare and stable hours. Just this last week Starbucks filed a lawsuit to overturn ALL the successful elections across the country. The Starbucks Workers are responding in kind with a National Sip-In campaign this weekend for Labor Day.
Here in Seattle the workers have asked us to talk to customers and community members outside the Starbuck on 5th & Pike this Monday from 12-2pm. Join us to hand out fliers and talk with folks about what the workers are fighting for and the vicious campaign by Starbucks to undermine and crush their efforts.
