What is the state? What is the role of the state in capitalist society? What is the role of political parties? Can we reform our way to socialism through the state? If we agree the current state must be replaced, what should replace it and how do we replace it? Do socialists support violent revolution?
Join District 5 members for a dynamic discussion group on the foundational reading “State and Revolution” by Lenin this coming SUNDAY at NOON. We’ll be reading and discussing Chapters 3-4.
Bring your thoughts, ideas, and questions! Even if you don’t have time to read all of it (or any of it!), come anyway!
