Join District 3 members for a Zoom/phone meeting this THURSDAY to discuss the excellent petition/letter campaign by several DSA members that demands Gov. Inslee decree a rent suspension and how we can build that pressure campaign in District 3.Â
As well as discuss the demand of taking into public democratic ownership corporations like American Airlines, Boeing, Comcast and other corporations that get bailed out in the $2.2 trillion economic rescue bill.
What does it mean, “take into public democratic ownership” or “nationalize” corporations? Why would we need to do that, couldn’t we just pass stringent regulations instead, similar to what Bernie calls for? Who can fight and win against the power of the corporations?
