Trump’s deportation machine has kicked into high gear, snatching people off the street, raiding homes and workplaces, and activating the National Guard and Marines to suppress protests and resistance. This past weekend nearly 7 million people took to the streets in a powerful show of force against Trump and his draconian policies. What will it take to defeat Trump’s deportation machine, his billionaire backers, and the Right? What demands and actions can Seattle DSA members and the broader Left put forward to further build a mass movement?
