From his grotesque attacks on immigrants and Muslims to his remarks following Charlottesville to sending federal agents to Portland to intimidate and threaten violence against peaceful protesters, Trump has a long history promoting and siding with right wing extremism. This has led many on the Left to accuse him and his supporters of being fascists. Is Trump and his supporters fascists? What is fascism? What is the most effective way of fighting and defeating fascism?
