POSTPONED: Rally to Support Alabama Amazon Union Drive! International Day of Action

Amazon Spheres 2101 7th Ave, Seattle, WA, United States

If it succeeds, the unionization drive at the huge Amazon warehouse in Bessemer, Alabama will become the first union at an Amazon facility in the U.S. Nearly 5,800 workers, 70% of whom are Black, have begun standing up against the second largest company in the country and the richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos. The workers are voting this month on forming a union, and a victory would inspire workers and people of color across the country to organize and fight back against the starvation wages and horrific working conditions that made the Amazon executive Jeff Bezos a multi-billionaire. A strong show of solidarity here at Amazon’s international headquarters will send a powerful message to Amazon workers in Alabama that we got their backs!
