A quick report: On Sunday, we tabled outside of the Starbucks Roastery. We were joined by several Starbucks workers, some of whom are on the organizing committee. This Starbucks is huge and has over 100 workers! It’s a tourist destination so we talked to people from all over the country and the world.

We also spoke with Starbucks workers from Chicago, Denver, and Ellensburg. They spoke about conditions at their stores and union busting tactics like getting their hours cut.We collected about 100 signatures on the Solidarity Pledge! We also spread the word about the strikes in Maryville and Olympia and encouraged donations to the strike fund. We also put posters up all over Capitol Hill. There was also someone from Chicago making a documentary for Starbucks Workers United. So watch out for that!
