Socialist Night School is an open course that provides a chance to develop our politics together, regardless of background knowledge or whether you’ve attended a class before. New members and lifelong socialists, all are welcome! To sign up for our mailing list or to find out more, e-mail us at [email protected]
We’re starting the year with a mini-series covering the ABCs of Capitalism by Vivek Chibber, editor of Catalyst and professor of sociology at NYU. For January we’ll cover A: Understanding Capitalism. In Part A Chibber explains why capitalism isn’t just a collection of individuals, but individuals grouped in social classes with very different interests.
These pamphlets are available in sets of three from Jacobin. We also have a decent supply on-hand for Night School use. Pick up a set at a chapter meeting or e-mail us to get one.
