“Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country,” declared Trump in his 2019 State of the Union Address. Since then, Trump, the GOP, and now the corporate media and surrogates of the Democratic Party establishment have launched furious attacks on Bernie and the ideas of socialism. What are the billionaires, corporate donors and the establishment afraid of? Trump and the billionaires’ sexist, racist agenda must be defeated in 2020.
The strength of Bernie’s campaign is his call for a political revolution against the billionaire class. What can we accomplish by building this mass movement of everyday working people and young people? What’s the alternative to unbridled corporate domination of society – is socialism realistic? What can we do now to build this movement?
We’ll also discuss how we can get active in District 5 to elect Bernie, build the Tax Amazon campaign, and more!
