SDSA Public Forum: Bernie Ends His Campaign – Where Do We Go From Here?

Join Seattle DSA to review all that we achieved through Bernie’s campaign and discuss how we can capture the energy we built over the last months to continue building our power and building towards a democratic socialist future. We’ll review the strengths of Bernie’s campaign, chiefly realigning the entire U.S. political balance of forces — no small feat! — and coalescing a new generation of socialist-minded activists. We’ll also assess where we are still weak and what it will take to overcome these weaknesses.

We’ll hear from organizers of Democratic Socialists for Bernie; members of Bernie Sanders’ campaign team; activists organizing to take steps towards launching a Democratic Socialist Party; and members organizing for change in their unions, workplaces, and communities. There will be ample time for discussion and for attendees to share their ideas.
