May 1st – International Workers Day – presents us the opportunity to discuss the impact of COVID19 on the liberal capitalist world order, immigration, prospects for struggle, how the global economic and social catastrophe unleashed by the coronavirus will disproportionately impact developing and poor countries, and how we can rebuild the global economy on the basis of an international Green New Deal.
We’ll also discuss ongoing COVID19 organizing efforts in District 5, as well as other DSA campaigns that could be taken up in D5.
