Seattle DSA recently voted to endorse WA State Rep. candidate Sherae Lascelles (they/them)! They are running against Frank Chopp on a platform of taxing the *hell* out of the rich, putting people over profit, equity and accessibility, mutual aid and community-care.
We have only a very short time until the general election, and we are asking Seattle DSA members to mobilize to send Sherae Lascelles to Olympia! For this event, we will be block-walking and dropping off Sherae for State coffee and cocoa packs at doorsteps.
RSVP HERE and meet us at the southern end of Volunteer park, just north of the Observatory, at 11AM on Saturday for a brief training and block-walk!

Parking/Amenities
There is street parking near Volunteer Park, and a public bathroom within the park.
Accessibility:
This event will be held at a park with some curb cuts and some stairs. We will meet a spot that is accessible via the parking lot. Block-walking can use some people who can travel distances by foot going up and down stairs. We can also use drivers who can stay in their car to be re-supply stations.
