Before Biden took office many on the left said that Biden was a corporate Democrat that would champion a neoliberal agenda. However, in his first 3 days in office Biden has signed a raft of progressive executive orders cancelng the Keystone XL Pipeline, strengthening DACA, ending the Muslim ban, preventing workplace discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity, putting forward a $15/minimum wage and more. Is Biden a corporate Democrat? Do the executive orders mean that Biden and the Democratic Party have moved to the left and are more of a pro-working class political party? In this changed situation, what’s the role of DSA?
