To Break or Not To Break? DSA Takeover of the Nevada Democratic Party & Question of New Party. Next District 3 Meeting (all are welcome!)

March 25, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join District 3 members (open to all!) to discuss…

Recently, in a stunning upset, a slate of DSA members swept elections for key leadership positions in the Nevada Democratic Party, giving them formal leadership of the party in Nevada. How did this happen? What does it tell us about the Democratic Party? What exactly is the Democratic Party? Is it just a matter of electing new progressive, socialist leadership? Is it simpler to just take over the Democratic Party rather than forging a new one?   Eriacta http://www.sildenafilanswers.com/eriacta/

This development in Nevada has intensified the debate in DSA about how DSA should relate to the Democratic Party.  Should we elect as many DSA members as possible with the goal of taking over the Democratic Party and using it to fight for what the working class needs and to achieve socialism? Should we take steps toward independence from the Democratic Party by running openly as socialists and independent of the Democartic Party, while being willing to run on their ballot line if tactically necessary? Or should we have a clean break from the Democratic Party now and form a working class political party? Fildena http://www.wolfesimonmedicalassociates.com/fildena/

Join Seattle DSA District 3 members to discuss these important developments from a socialist perspective. We’ll also discuss the Kshama Sawant Solidarity campaign and other activities in District 3. If you don’t live in D3, come anyway!  These are open meetings that we hold every other Thursday.
