Tech Contract Worker Organizing Roundtable

Seattle Tech Solidarity will be hosting a roundtable discussion on organizing gig and contract workers in the tech industry with a particular focus on the proven hiring hall model. What is a hiring hall, how can it work in our industry, and how does it relate to other traditional methods of labor organizing?

Speakers from a number of local labor unions with successful hiring halls, along with current workers working under a hiring hall model and organizers who have worked on gig and contract campaigns using different models, will be there to discuss and answer these questions.

All Seattle tech workers, contract workers, and anyone else interested in this conversation are encouraged to join us.
