The Marxist Reading & Discussion Group is welcome to new and seasoned readers of Marxist literature! Please join us as we work through and discuss some of the seminal works of foundational leftist thinkers, with regards to how they pertain to modern political struggles. All discussions are based on works that are broken down into shorter, digestible chunks with no prior experience (or attendance) needed, so feel free to drop in as your schedule permits. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
We will be meeting on the patio at Chuck’s Hop Shop in Central District. Our meeting format is currently in person, with the reading discussion starting at 7pm! Feel free to come a bit earlier (6:30pm) to get settled, order a food or a drink, and introduce yourself! Please be respectful of fellow attendees by assessing your COVID risk, and consider taking a test before attending or wearing a mask if that risk seems high!
Location: Chuck’s Hop Shop, 2001 E Union St, Seattle, WA 98122
