Seattle DSA’s Housing Justice Working Group is going to be hosting Tiffani McCoy from House our Neighbors to discuss the upcoming ballot initiative to fund the Seattle Social Housing Public Development Authority! Please join us to ask questions and give feedback on the upcoming initiative!
We will be holding this meeting on Zoom starting at 6:00pm and at University Library at 5009 Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105 in the University Room!
Social housing is publicly owned, permanently affordable housing in which residents have democratic decision making power over their own homes. Last year, Seattle passed I-135 to become one of the first American cities to establish a city-run social housing developer.
