Well Washington Fund Kick-off Rally with Representative Shaun Scott

Washington State Representative Shaun Scott and the Democratic Socialists of America are holding a rally and press conference on the steps of the capitol building to announce the Well Washington Fund Bill.

Washington State is home to some of the wealthiest and most profitable corporations on earth, and Seattle in particular has had a front-row seat to the last few decades of skyrocketing wealth inequality, unaffordable housing and jarring labor disruptions brought forth by an unfettered tech industry. In the face of austerity imposed by Trump and Washington, DC, we need progressive revenue to fund all the vital services that Washington State provides.
