Capital Reading Group – Session 1

April 22, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Are you curious about the works of Karl Marx? Do you want to learn the basics of Marxist economic theory in a friendly, open setting where it’s OK to be thoroughly confused about what a commodity is? So do we! Join us to read Vol. I of Karl Marx’s Capital. We welcome everyone, regardless of background & education level.

A link to more details about the reading group, including ground rules for discussion, reading selections & optional supplemental materials, can be found here.

We will be meeting in the Columbia Branch library’s meeting room. The library is wheelchair accessible, and can be accessed via the No. 7 bus route and the Columbia City light rail station.
