Internal Organizing Meeting + Work Party

DSA just experienced another big membership surge after Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s primary win late June. We want to get new members plugged in and get acquainted with Seattle DSA’s platform, structure and work, meet new members and a lil primer on socialism/anti-capitalism. In order to do that, we will be planning and then working on a New Member Orientation planned for July 29 (pending approval) . If time permits, we will also discuss other IOC projects in the works/not yet in the works and what we need in order to accomplish them.
MEETING: 1pm-2pm
WORK PARTY: 2pm-3:30pm
ACCESSIBILITY:
The meeting room is on the first floor of the building. Restrooms are gendered (women/men) and have accessible stalls.
