An examination of U.S. foreign policy, and through it the world politico-economic order, from 1945 – present. There’s particular focus on the rise and fall of the neoliberal consensus, and its implications for leftist political action.

From Margins to Mainstream: the Making of the Modern Republican Party p. 24
Following World War II, the Republican Party was shaped by waves of internal fighting, culminating in its current form. The once dominant Northeastern Liberal wing of the party waned as Bircher and Buckleyite tendencies asserted power. This article examines some of the key groups and strategies that turned the party into what it is today.
