Join the SDSA Queer & Feminist Caucus for our regular labor history happy hour — this time for brunch!
This month we’ll be joined by special guests from the UK who organizing to raise consciousness around the impact of the Matchgirls, a group of women in the 1880s who went on strike against some of the most horrific working conditions in the world and laid the groundwork for the modern labor movement, not just in the UK and Europe, but in the U.S. and around the world!
